How to make a claim
At Moonrock we believe Claims should be dealt with quickly and efficiently. Our Insurer partner Hiscox will deal with your claims directly to make sure we deliver on this aim. The Hiscox claims team are available 09.00 - 17.30 Monday - Friday excluding bank holidays. All new property claims should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org and all new liability claims should be emailed to email@example.com. If you would like to discuss reporting your claim with Hiscox before sending across your completed form you are able to call them on +44 (0)845 213 8899
The out of hours emergency contact telephone number is +44 (0)870 241 6257, which provide access to 24 hour assistance, such as plumber and electricians on a pay and claim basis.
You need to:
- Contact the police immediately in respect of any theft or malicious damage
- Contact Hiscox claims using the details provided
- You should not make any attempt at replacement or repair of items without written authorisation from us
- You must send us any claim, writ or summons as soon as you receive it.
Failure to do any of the above may result in your claim being delayed or rejected.
Do not negotiate, pay or settle, admit or deny any claim without our or your insurer’s written permission. You must also notify us in writing of any impending prosecution, inquest or fatal accident enquiry.
Your claim cannot be dealt with quickly and efficiently until we have received all the necessary information and supporting documentation. It is important to provide as much detail and supporting evidence as possible, failure to do so will inevitably result in a delay. Dependent upon the circumstances of the claim, the underwriters reserve the right to request additional documentation or information as required.
